playingCoder It does depend on the RTF kit you got. If it has a build in access receiver it would b able to bind. You then have to make sure you have the right version EU LBT or "normal" version.

playingCoder you can use it any where in the world. but you will have to flash your receiver with the LBT firmware too.

playingCoder i guess you could somehow open it an do a diy repair, but you can also use a cord and a 3s lipo for example.

Q: does this have an HDMI input so I can use it with simulators?

playingCoder no it does not. there is an adapter for the av in available for the available input.

playingCoder It did come with the frsky RX in an 3D-printed part and connected.

playingCoder What I learned today is, that there is no EU or FCC version for the R-XSR it does recognize the transmitter mode and responds in the according mode. I could connect to it after updating the firmware (might not be needed) in access 1-16ch mode with my Taranis QX7. First I had to register the transmitter by holding the F-S Button on the RX and plugging in the battery to the drone while holding it. Then i could bind the RX to the TX.
