fabricator4 That is correct. You should be able to use any vaporiser power source, although the timeout is usually 10 seconds which might get a bit annoying. It would be pretty to easy to make your own power source though, and the 510 connectors are readily available for DIY mod makers. I think they will sell many more tips than complete soldering irons.
