BG981535154 Myidea would be getting high precision bearings from FAG/SKF for a couple of euros, fit them and see if that takes care of the play. Try it and maybe let me know in a reply how it worked !

package arrived well packaged, but base was scratched a bit. As reviews indicated, the top of the guide had a bit of slop because the springs are a bit short. What is more problematic is the amount of play in the bearing of the chuck. this prevents precise drilling. rest of the package is tight and aligned

BG981535154 Havethe same concernt, although you could make your own make on the main scale to calibrate the system the same was like you do with the woodpeckers version. For the lacking scale on the side, couldn6t you try to apply the Wnew Metal scale available here that is used for the miter gauge stops ? It has adhesive on the backsidie, maybe worth a try.

Although this is an imitation of the woodpecker guide it cannot be calibrated the same way, there are no calibration marks, the scale starts at zero and no scale on the side for thin cuts. Saying all that the build quality is very good and you can calibrate to known sizes. I've set mine up so i add 200mm to scale on normal cuts and 170mm when using bars for thin cuts. N to to much trouble when considering how much you are saving

BG981535154 To use this router fence as a jointer was an idea I had too. Can‘t you take feeler-gauges for adjusting valve play in 1mm thickness and put them behind the left fence before loosening the tightening bolts ? Can you take a photo how the fence looks with the left part taken off?

Q: How to calibrate the parallel guides ? It is missing the calibration marks on the scale that the original woodpeckers version has, also it doesn´t have the end stops of the round rails the original has. Without a way to calibrate this, the paralllel guide are unfortunately completely useless.

BG530154145 I have just received this few days ago to use with my Festooltrack and calibration is super easy: take known width board, in my case 450mm, aling tracks cutting edge and slide back flag stop to 450mm and push sticks against the board. Done! tried multiple times with different widths and 100% accurate every time. Another option is to use Sam method with known width board and only use one flag stop and tape ruler on track.

Excellent quality iteam, it as absolutely 90 degrees. Also the function to mark a line with a pencil through the micro holes is very useful. Highly recommended !
