Q: does it have Google Paly? So can you install own apps?

GeoNomad Yes, but a lot of apps show as not compatible with your device. In particular TSN and CBC Gem. But, it does have a Chrome browser so some content can be streamed from the browser directly.

Seems to work fine. Absolute measurements are probably way off - as in the CO2 concentration outside should be ~400 and it calibrates to 589. But that is not a problem as you don't expect a scientific instrument at this price, just something to monitor for changes. The app works fine but requires permissions far beyond the scope of connecting to one bluetooth device. Just assume the usual Chinese spyware here. Without permissions the app gets into some kind of loop and does nothing. Now to see if someone has decoded the bluetooth and then the app won't be needed.
