This little ripper ROCKS! Beforehand my experience with tiny whoops / micro quads was pretty limited to an Eachine Tiny Pepper (my very first quad!). The two are worlds apart. The QX65 can be flown in acro, tweaked in betaflight, has an OSD, and is not so bad on batteries (generally getting around one to three minutes depending on how hard you fly it. Unfortunately, I did have a few gripes (mostly minor stuff) as outlined below: 1) I got the Advanced pack which all in all was a fantastic deal. I loved the fact that it came with a 1s charger. Unfortunately, one time I accidentally forgot that I had a brand new 4S hooked up to charge some a few of the pico batteries. By morning the 4S was sitting on 5V and could not be revived.... It's a shame they couldn't have put in a LV cutoff to help save batteries. 2) Life of the supplied Eachinne 3.8V HV batteries. I always made sure I didn't discharge them too much. However, after maybe one to two months the batteries would not hold charge (mind you I was using this baby alotta the time). In the same vein the pico connector leaves a bit to be desired, with power to the FC not completely reliable.I ended up replacing the pico connecter with a 2mm and started usign the Gaofeng HV batteries (seems good but 3) Will overheat if left powered on and sitting for too long. Normally this will only affect the video signal. Once airborne, the fans will normally cool it down with the signal returning. 4) Camera angle. I found the camera would fall back in the chassis so the viewing angle was pretty not that great.. I ended up using a dab of hot glue to keep the camera inn place rather than messing around with the screws agina and again...

Screw you Bangood. I just wrote an awesome review and while trying to upload a photo the whole screen refreshed and lost my work!!. My partner initially bought me one of the little legomen torches which I found really useful for getiting into our old apartment as the light on the entrance never seemed to work. The only problem was the legomen was huge, the light pretty sad (very low throw), and a pain ita to change batteries. The Astrolux has none of these issues. Considering its ~8mm lense, the light is blinding. I was testing it over my neighbours fence, the little guy couid light up most of their backyard, and even managed to scare my neighbours wife who had gotten out of the shower and was getting changed!. The red light has next to no range, (I have a head torch and use its red light alot to help keep a low profile whil working at night). The UV light is good, would like to know what frequency range it's at as it is a bit different to another one of my mates. My only possible source of complaint is the battery life. However, given it can be charged off a univcersal USB-C plug (used for everyting but apple devices) this is not much of an issue. I can see what one of the other reviewers was complaining about re: finger prints staying on surface as this happens all the time with mine. However, given it spends most of it's time attached to my keys in a pocket it's not so much of a concern. I would try and attach a photo like last time, although I won;t as it deleted the whole review and didn't even update (2nd time writing).... For this i'm taking off a point on appearance.

eimz I have a qx65 which comes in at 26g~10% lighter. I was easily getting 5min flight times for the first 50-100 flights (cooked now) tho the Pico connectors are shit and i can't find any HV batteries in 2mm.
