BG111054912 Exactly the same thing happened to me. It worked fine the first (less than a battery) run. Didn't even start the second time, but the ESC got dangerously hot from just being idle.

Overall this truck is real quick and fun to drive! the shell is week so if you jump it and it lands on the roof like I did the shell will most likely crack in half. You can buy a roll cage though!

Excellent shocks. Makes a massive difference to the handling of the buggy! If you're going to fit one upgrade it's got to be these!!

BG111054912 Great info, thanks! When you say bigger wheels I assume you mean wider, not bigger diameter? Any recommendation on better wheels?

I put bigger and wider wheels on it (with spacer), but the stock esc can't handle it unless you use active cooling. With bigger wheels the motor als needs active cooling. With more grip the car wheelies easily. So I would recommend buying a HBX wheeliebar (it fits with default holes). The stock transmitter is a bit nicer than the transmitters you usually get with other rc cars in this price range. I only replaced two front shocks (only the bottom mount) because they break easily when I smashed into it stuf. But parts are widely available. Opening up the front end for excessing the diff is a little bit more work than the rear end.
