Peet Greatreview. Quick question for you: I see 2 calibration methods: 2x rudder @1352 (fast blinking), that must be the gyro. And 2x rudder @2252 (slow blinks), what does this second method actually calibrate? 2,4G Frequency hopping? Trim? Reset?

I am convinced this is the best toy quality RC quadcopter you can buy. It has 2 rates, fast and faster. The high rate is excellent for flying outside in light wind. I usually use the low rate inside which is fast but not uncontrollable or too much for inside a small house. I have crashed this countless times with no damage at all. I really appreciate the blue light in back and red light in front that helps with orientation. I have had no issue with range, but on a micro drone I wouldn't try to fly it further than I can see it anyway. I have let about 8 different people try to fly this, both kids and adults. They do struggle at first with managing the throttle because this does NOT have altitude hold. Most of the kids were frustrated and preferred my other drones with altitude hold, but this one is the most fun so I would recommend it for kids and adults who have a little bit of patience to learn. I have never had to calibrate or trim this quad. It just works every time right away which is awesome. I will probably buy more. The kids love having me chase them with this, we play tag because it does not hurt to get hit with it and it is so durable that crashing it over and over is not an issue at all. If it crashes very hard it turns itself off which annoyed the kids but I never crash it that hard so I don't care. If it does turn off all that is required is to disconnect and reconnect the battery. This is perfect for flying inside and in the backyard. For that purpose, the only thing better would be a hobby-grade FPV whoop like the Mobula6 or Eachine Trashcan.

Peet "Thenew foundation appeared to have no firmware rewriting pins". Is that related to the color of the drone? I just read the blue ones are the only ones that are Silverware-ready. Red ones don't have this option. Is that true? Other question: I see 2 calibration methods: 2x rudder @1352 (fast blinking), that must be the gyro. And 2x rudder @2252 (slow blinks), what does this second method actually calibrate? 2,4G Frequency hopping? Trim? Reset?

Q: compatible with runcam split 3lite?

Asked by BG141117552 on 2021-04-19 02:55:24

Peet Yes, but its NOT A NICE FIT ... : [ You might want to sand down the camera-opening just a bit, so you move the Split3 slightly more forwards what will make the screw-holes align. Also tucking away the camera-cables without putting much strain on them is pretty hard. For the Runcam Split 3 Lite I have better experiences with the Cinefun canopy. (Still need to test the Happymodel Crux3 and the UZ65 canopies. These should also be able to handle the Runcam Split 3 Lite)

mr69 I think those you mention use a proprietary protocol and cannot be bound to Jumper T-Lite I use it for my Mobula6 and Moblite7(both Frsky receiver) with no problems
