Q: Can I use 18v battery into a 20v topshak brushless drill?

Asked by BG521164141 on 2023-08-04 09:22:33

wbilsky Yes. 20VDC is the maximum voltage this brushless drill can tolerate. An 18v Makita battery or Makita 18v clone battery will work ok. theThe title line of this drill actually states:Topshak TS-PW1 Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench Screwdriver Stepless Speed Change Switch For 18V Makita Battery

wbilsky Clone of the Makita XWT11 (Amazon $143.55 USD and Homeless Despot $199.00 USD). I bought this chinese model from Banggood ($32.99 USD). I just finished using it to replace 16 lug nuts on a Kia. On the low setting it removed lug nuts that were tightened to 70 Ft-lbs and then I manually loosened and re-tightened the new lug nuts to 60 Ft-lbs using a click type torque wrench (just to make sure all nuts were evenly torqued). Makita batteries fit good. With the Banggood Makita 6Ah battery linked below I used a 3/4" impact socket to easily remove a lugnut that was tightened to 70 ft lbs (94Nm) on a 1998 Honda Civic then immediately used this cordless impact wrench to tighten the lugnut. I measured the un-torque value with an old school beam torque wrench at 75 Ft-lbs (101 Nm). This appears to be a clone of the high priced Makita XWT11 brushless cordless impact wrench and is well worth the money as an exceptionally good value. Buy this impact wrench and the battery and you will be very happy with it. Ordered this battery https://www.banggood.com/MAK-18B-Li-18V-Li-Ion-5_0Ah6_0Ah-Battery-Replacement-Power-Tool-Battery-For-Makita-BL1850-BL1860-p-1351501.html?rmmds=myorder
