Q: can flash the "Arducopter Ardupilot" firmware on it?

Asked by aLDimeTech on 2021-09-07 12:49:13

raymor One of the reviews said they put Ardupilot on it and it worked well. I think Painless 360 did as well.

raymor No. For a dead cat frame, the front arms (where the camera is) would be almost straight across. That is, the motors would not be in front of the camera, but rather beside it, so that the camera couldn't see the props. It's not *quite* a true X , but pretty darn close.

Q: Which style RX antenna suits this IPEX antenna best?

Asked by okisub on 2017-11-20 12:39:48

raymor Because this antenna is straight linear) it should be paired with a straight aka linear antenna. A linear patch antenna is also okay - if you don't fly above or behind the transmitter.

raymor You can plug as many modules as you want into each other. That will give you 64 outputs or 128 or as many as you want. It appears that the output enable pin (OE) is connected to ground, so outputs may may high or low when the board powers up, until you shift data in. This is a design defect. The OE pin and CLR pin should have brought out so you can connect to them. Since OE is grounded and CLR isn't available, outputs may be in any unpredictable state until you shift some data in. They should have been connected to the header and a a pull-up resistor.
