tutaj5 Well ive got both versions(blue and yellow transformer), both of them have a little whine at about 6khz but the datasheet for the controller chip says its switching frequency is about 67khz.

tutaj5 Oh and i forgot one thing, the mains input is isolated from the heatsink, it will not shock you no matter where you touch it. So if you soldered the mains wires just cover them with kapton tape or some insulating glue.
