A great product at a great price. Very happy with the results on my Windows 10 PC. Some things to consider: - Takes some time to get the setup perfect. - Power cord a little short. - Additional double sided tape might be needed to make sure it doesn't seperate from curved screens.

Q: does this work without the usb on a Android box or does it need the usb put in?

Anmarl007 It needs the USB dongle to be plugged in.

I brought this to replace my Nvidia Shield remote since I wanted air mouse functionality and physical volume buttons instead of the touch bar. This remote works exactly as i wanted it to. General remarks: -The Voice button works as expected. -The Air Mouse works wonderfully and is gyro based. -The back button works on the Nvidia Shield. -The IR learning works flawlessly and is very handy for televisions without proper CEC support. This remote is a perfect replacement for the Nvidia Shield and does everything that I expected from it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a Android TV remote with full functionality, good build quality and all this in a sleek form factor.

I brought both types and here are my thoughts: Type 1 (Bluetooth): Paired fine but after 2 minutes of use it completely died. The red light does not come on at all any more and I am unable to re-pair. It is now completely useless. Type 2 (Dongle): Still works after some use. General Remarks: The back button works on the Nvidia Shield. Neither model has a gyro and the mouse can only be controlled via the directional keys. Does not have IR learning. The remote works OK but clearly there is a problem with the Bluetooth version because it seems to be breaking for a lot of people. The air mouse is not very useful since it does not have a gyro but it is better than nothing. All things considered I would say that there are better options available than this.
