Disclaimer, I really had my eye on a Rigol DS1054Z but at less than half the price I decided this Hantek unit is probably sufficient for my needs. Immediately after clicking buy, the delivery standard increased by 2 weeks. It did, however, arrive within the timeframe that was originally stated. Just be aware of this bait and switch tactic. I was also quite disappointed with the tracking information available for what was supposed to be a priority delivery. For example the package appeared to sit in an airport for a full week! Mechanically it feels like a solid, well built unit with a decent bit of weight behind it. The enclosure is not flimsy in any way and the controls are very tactile. Great set of features for the low price. If you're working with microcontrollers, digital electronics or analog circuits that require a BW of say <75MHz then this is a good option to consider. There are some issues outlined below but considering the budget price I'm not expecting a highly polished product. I also suspect that most of them are SW issues that will hopefully be ironed out with future updates. As expected the memory depth is halved when the 2nd channel is enabled but it came as a huge shock to discover that the max sampling rate can only be used with memory depth <=40K. Ouch! The display is a bit laggy with very noticeable refresh and rather chunky fonts. The controls are a bit laggy with button presses and encoder movements often getting missed. The unit has crashed a couple of times requiring a power cycle to get things going again. Protocol decoding is a bit sketchy and temperamental. I still need to accurately measure the analog BW but from what I'm seeing so far I suspect it falls a bit short There are multiple small bugs and counter intuitive quirks in the UI although all in all operation is pretty consistent with other scopes I use. As a bonus it came fully populated with the AWG components so can theoretically be upgraded/hacked if you're that way inclined
