Great value - works as described. Be sure you have a resoldering station ID: (348341) and solder paste before starting this kit. Surface Mount required.

Q: There are leads for C2 on the surface mount side of the board. The kit has a 100 microfarad capacitor that has positive and negative leads. Does the positive end of that capacitor face C1 or the led's?

tholl You install the C2 capacitor by aligning the SHAPE of the base to match up with the marking on the pcb. One side is square and the other side is beveled.
