Q: do you guys think a 7 inch prop is too small? (PS: Im gonna run 4s)

Asked by NYHobbyist on 2020-09-06 12:28:21

BG181154816 No but 4s will destroy the model perhaps. Im running diatone 2308 with 7040 on 3s and it goes vertical at half throttle

Q: Which motor and prop should i use? thanks in advance

Asked by rui on 2020-10-07 03:21:37

BG181154816 I recommend the diatone 2308 with a 7040 prop on 3s 2200. It goes vertical like crazy with this drive. Also saves a lot of weight against those standard airplane motors

Q: can you use with cable only and not battery?

Asked by Goodshopper on 2019-06-27 08:41:59

BG181154816 Possible. You can directly wire it if you open it and remove the battery. It's not hard to do just small solder joints

Q: What electric motor should this kit carry?

Asked by Gonzalo on 2019-08-17 15:00:30

BG181154816 I would use a drone motor like a 2207 or 2306 with low lv like 1300 or 1500 on 3s combined with a 8xx size folding prop

Q: what is needed to complete the build ready to fly?

Asked by maverick on 2019-08-17 09:04:58

BG181154816 Super glue sanding paper time. Then after the raw build is done you need covering film to iron on. Also you will need 4 servos a receiver fitting your transmitter a fitting motor and esc a propeller and a spinner (optional)
