Q: i have mini5848 vtx with osd frequency remote control it has RXD pin for the osd question is where will i solder it to the flight controller for camera control

Dan It has a B+ pad by the video out pad for vtx. I'm assuming that is filtered as well. Most vtx require a minimum of 7 volts. The filtered 5v is usually used for your camera.

Q: are the wires still plastic coated?

Dan I just received mine yesterday. I can say these are NOT plastic coated. They are 30 gauge silicon wires and solder in very nicely as you can strip them with your fingernails
