MDA irfrance sure ! as long as you're in betwen 8-60V and not going over 50A constant and 240 peak

Q: I am feeding this circuit with 18-20V from a lithium battery, stepping down to 14.5v which is fed into remote control speed controller for battery powered ride on car. Must I also set CC potentiometer to allow this module to deliver up to 15A? How do I set the CC to its maximum? Or is current only constant when input and output are common grounded?

MDA irfrance there is a CV and CC potentiometer in input .if you turn it clockwise , voltage or current will increase.

Q: can I control the the leds separatly with an arduino?

MDA irfrance yes you can use arduino but don t use FASTLED library because it doesn t support RGBW strips, use Adafruit Neopixel instead
