GilGamesharion the outer layer seems to be made out of a high-quality solid plastic. with rubber seals on either side to waterproof the USB ports and the port for the car battery clamps on the other side. the battery inside is most likely lithium polymer battery. everything is off a high-quality including the carry bag.

GilGamesharion I suggest you try having it in a completely dark room and see if the light turns off or not. if it switches off that means it's the solar charging indicator which could be it's recharging from any light in the room.
