Norman there is a jack on the unit for you to put in power and take it out . YOU supply the power YOU need ( up to 48v @ 1 amp )

Q: What IP and port are required to connect to the car's engine using the wifi version? I've tried this in two different cars (a 2011 and a 2017 Kia) and in neither car was I able to connect to the car's computer using any of the apps that I tried on my Android phone.

Norman most software is default to bluetooth . look in the menu and see if you can change to wifi . the konnwei should give a wifi signal .
