Q: does a 3s 2200mah 11.1v 25c work with the car

BG541614561 yes it should fit you may have to move the brackets inside Wich is really easy but I doubt it. I run a 1300mah 45c in mine and there's lots of room to spare.

Q: Can somebody advise what size of battery this truck can take and which connector it has?

BG541614561 I've fit a 4000mah battery it was the square type just had to ad more velcro straps and put it in on a bit of an angle and it ran forever. it worked great

BG541614561 No it is not waterproof. You can run it if it's a little wet out, but wouldn't recommend.
