Q: Guess if I use it on a motor I'll lose power at low speed ?

BG223754244 That'sthe idea. However, if your motor is a single-stage motor, not the best idea to starve it any current or voltage.

BG223754244 Don'texpect best performance. You are getting what you pay for on this item. Not much of a linear voltage gain or reduction as you turn the knob. I don't get anything at all until about 30-40%, then current begins to flow.
