Q: does the fpv transmitter on the drone have to be 40 channels? or would it work with a 48 channels?

BG161321484 It works. 40 is the number of channels available, so you can set any channel to work. For example, you set channel R-1 on VTX and the goggles, and it works. Channel number doesn't have to be the same
