Pala Ithink the R stands for Remote, but not 100 percent sure.

BG455354016 It depends on the vtx signal strength. I’ve tested this on a race in short range and it worked perfect with a pagoda antenna. The one button operation could be more confortable. You have to cycle through all the frequencies every time you want to change to a lower channel.
