This sound board is incredibly good. It will knock you of your feet. It uses the same DAC chip as the Alo Bos card but costs only half as much ... Take some time to install it, as this is not easy. I strongly recommend spending the few dollars which it takes to install the software on your smartphone needed to command this player. Even with a mid class amp and mid class speakers the sound is so much better than beforehand. Highly recommended but not to beginners!

This DAC works fine with the new Raspberry Pi B3+. Using the proper overlay by editing this line in the config.txt file dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio After reboot you have to adjust the settings in the audio software you use directing the audio to the allo device.
