The unit is well built but is missing a critical feature. It does not have proper temperature regulation. I left it on by mistake and it had melted through its own solder pot by morning. However it does have a fuse and is properly earthed so at least when it fails it does not burn down the house. Rather learn from my mistake and pay a bit more and get the version with the built in temperature regulation. I did that the second time around :-
