I've bought similar units before to replace the 78mm R7S bulb in my small pir floodlight. It's a bit of a squeeze to get the unit to fit, and maybe that makes it get a bit hot because I've had them fail. First one led starts to flicker and then they all start to go. I've ordered another because they give a nice bright light and are cheap to run. All the led's face forward so there's no wasted light.
