I had the inspiration to disassembly it before put it to hard work. A big surprise: the COB module wasn’t installed properly to the aluminium heatsink! There’s a frame which is for the 32SMD LED flashlight version, not for COB variant. This transparent frame was put under the COB module, not over it. That didnt’t allow the heat to dissipate through the heatsink, hence the heatsink was useless. Because this frame didn’t fit due to the thickness of COB( a 2mm epoxy layer) it was needed to cut it(see the pictures how) for correct contact between COB and heatsink( I put some thermal paste also). There are three blue SMD leds for indicating the battery level. Unfortunately their position is extremely bad, on the same PCB near the COB. This doesn’t allow easily seeing the discharge level, unless you want to blind. There’s no protection for undervoltage, only the flashing of one of the blue leds. About batteries: two 18650 Li-ion cells in parallel, the capacity is not written on them. The current through battery (fully charged) was ~1500mA at full power and ~750mA at second mode. I’ve not tested the running time, but theorethically with this current consumption would be 2.5hours at high level and 5 hours at low level. The light is powerfull even in low mode(3,9V*0.75A=2.92W). The case is solid, it’s nice that it has inside gaskets…
