The product is good. It was a little different from the photo on the web page. There are 24 LEDs, but the density is low. The chip is a 4-pin type (this is no problem). The land on the back is weak and easily peeled off by soldering.

And DC-DC Step Down Power Supply Adjustable Module With LCD Display With Housing Case (Product ID: 1038740) to power it from a 12v battery. I have to find time soon to get more involved with ws2812 stuff. 5v .39 amp. Very bright!
