The first kit arrived damaged and had to be replaced. Second kit arrived in good condition and thank you Banggood for a quick response to solve my problem. I like to fit a Racestar 2212 1800kv motor and use a 7x5 prop in these little warbirds. This takes some modification and you need some model building experience and expertise to understand how to do it. I also fit a 30a esc and use an 850mah 3s nano battery. It can be done but its a very tight squeeze in this model. A 2mm carbon rod in the wing stiffens it up. Surprisingly, even with all the extra weight up front, it still needed about 20g of lead in the nose. The flying weight is just under 400g. CofG MUST be 50mm back from the FORWARD leading edge of the wing. Study the picture in the handbook CLOSELY to get it right. Even 2 or 3 mm further back and these planes are almost unflyable. Control throws are about 5mm each way. With this set up its a very hot warbird. Launch upwards at nearly full power and she'll climb away straight and level. She's very fast and only suitable for the intermediate to experienced flyer, although you don't have to build them with this overpowered set up. Landings are no problem keep the nose down and keep the speed up to avoid stalling. I had to paint my model a lighter colour as the WW2 camouflage colours are too dark and cause disorientation, especially during high speed turns. Not entirely scale, but I like flying my planes and avoiding crashing, more than sitting looking at them. I've got the P47 Thunderbolt, the Hurricane and I'm waiting for the FW190 kit to arrive. Can't wait.
