They are made to fit also with other Soldering Irons, not only with this one. Some have a longer heating Element, some don't.They fit very well with the MT223, what I did, was to "tune it up" a little bit. But as I wrote, the heating time without this small adjustement is pretty fast...about 20-25sec.So, there is no reason to concern.

artmedia Hi surenz, when you connect the iron, you can see for the first 2-3sec. it goes up to143W. and it allmost reaches the Temp you set.The heating rod glows like a candle. After 2-3sec. it goes down pretty fast and keeps a constant value.
