The Arduino code for the T-Beam trackers on the web suffer from lose of code control. The .ino sketches refer to lmic libraries. There are serious unresolved version issues with these libraries. The T-Beams cannot be programmed until these library code control issues are resolved.

12V 1100GPH Bilge Water Pump Submersible Float Switch

Q: When I connect the black wire to the battery negative and the brown/white wire to the battery positive (brown wire not connected) the pump pumps immediately even when not in water. This is with the pump on a smooth level surface. Is the float switch faulty?

jgregblair Many automatic bilge pump detect water by measuring the pump motor current. if there is no water, the motor spins fast pumping air and draws minimal current. if there is water, the motor is under load, pumpiing water not air,, and draws more current. Once pumping, the motor stays on until the current drops indicating no more water. Cycle this every few minutes and you have an automatic bilge pump.
