Works well on Ender 3, BUT if your control board has capacitor C7 installed (see photo) then you must remove it, or the very short duration Z-stop signal from BLTouch will not be detected and the extruder will just crash into the print bed when it auto-homes. This is a known issue with BLTouch and the latest Ender 3 control boards leave out C7. To refit the Ender 3/Pro cover and fan, you need to bend the four pins on the adapter PCB so that the 4-way header from BLTouch is horizontal. Versions of this kit sold elsewhere have the pins already bent.

Works OK with factory-assigned code and a learning receiver. No instructions supplied on changing it. Access to change battery is difficult because the case has no coin/fingernail slot to lever apart the two pieces.

Works well, using the remote from https://www.banggood.com/433Mhz-Transmitter-Wireless-Remote-Control-Switch-12V-4CH-Channel-p-1018573.html we get about 50m outdoor range. Note the status LED is on all the time (flashes off when data is received), so there is a bit of wasted current draw, could be important for battery powered receivers.

EXC000 You need to de-solder capacitor C7 from the 1.1.3 mainboard (next to the Z-STOP connector) otherwise the trigger signal will not be detected. BLTouch sends a very short pulse when it contacts the print bed, and the capacitor suppresses it. On later mainboards C7 is not fitted because of this problem.
