AdamOrton I use it to look at electronic boards, and to try and read serial numbers etc. I think for the price it would be great for a 7 year old. Add a small memory card and they can even take pictures. Bicouni is correct when they mentioned the color is off but it depends on what you want it for of course.

AdamOrton Looks like there is a small hole at the very tip. You could use it with a condom on it.
