My tripod only came with one quick release plate. I use my tripod for my camera sometimes when I need it perfectly still and for my FPV monitor when I'm flying long range drones. It saves time to have a quick release plate permanently attached to my LCD monitor so I can just clip it on at the field instead of fiddling with the screw while trying to hold the 24 inch monitor straight. I use this one to mount my camera. I attached the original one permanently to the heavy monitor because I though that the original one looked stronger. If it breaks, I'll try this one and order another one for my camera.
