Due to the Constant Resistance rating and varying Voltage nature these capacity testers are ok for that your doing. You getting a fair reading at the end of the test. NOT Perfect but fair. As the Cell voltage goes down the Current goes down. These testers provide a in the ball park capacity reading. It would have been better if they provided a Resistor that centered on the Batteries NOMINAL voltage of 3.7v. That way the Upper and Lower Limits measured would be more equal. A 3.0 Ohm resistor would have balanced out much better on top and bottom of cell charge or SOC. Yes I will replace the resistor with a 3.0 Ohm type. The Current being used would stay much more constant.
