There is no battery in the light. No power source. It has to be plugged into a UBS port to work. It is a really good disco light, but is miss represented as a bicycle light.. It is not waterproof, and comes with instructions that it is" only for use indoors." I do not advise you buy this product as advertised. Should you wish to buy an indoor, UBS powered, disco light. I would give this 5 stars.
