The box arrived in estimated time with no damage. I spent about 15- 20 hours of building this plane. I used the NTM 3536 800kv motor with 10x8 prop, 50amp esc, immersion 433mhz receiver, 5.8ghz VTX, spironet antenna, storm OSD, PZ0420 fpv camera, and Xiaomi Yi camera fitted to a custom brushless gimbal on the nose. For the batteries, 2 x 2200mah 4s and 850mah 3s for video gear. First launch the CG was set at the indicated stickers underneath. I threw the plane with 3/4 throttle slightly upwards, it pitched back and rolled left and nosed straight into the ground and done about $300 damaged, broken gimbal, broken VTX, broken antenna and broke the nose off the plane. I patched it up and tended to flight line of sight. I moved the CG forward 10mm and threw it again, the exact same thing happened. Clearly CG is wrongly marked on the plane and cost me alot of time and money. Not happy

  • Shadowhelo Consider what you said with it did a nose dive and you moved the CG forward to make more weight in the nose, of course it would do the same thing. A \"Xiaomi Yi camera fitted to a custom brushless gimbal on the nose\" would add lots of nose weight to a plane that is really meant for a mobius, you should have thought of this, it would affect the CG and you should have brought the weight back not forwards.....

  • Shadowhelo Your blaming the CG stickers of the plane when this is clearly user error. you stuck 2 2200's and one 850 mah along with a xiaomi Yi and a gimbal on the front of a plane and did not expect it to affect the CG ? of course its gonna take a nose dive with that much equipment on the front without being properly calibrated for that weight.Fail...

  • chris After some testing, i was in the wrong so my apologies. This plane flies best with CG at the servo wires, A little aft of the CG stickers, although it can still fly nose heavy with the CG 10mm in front of the CG stickers. When i had that setup it was heavy but still flyable as ive put on dead weight to match what was on and it flies ok. As for my crash ive put it down to a stall and some torque roll. I threw it on too much of an angle.

  • chris As for the brushless gimbal and Xiaomi Yi i wanted to try something different, Mobius is boring. I have another Talon on the way, will build it lighter with a smaller motor and less battery Mah

  • khairilniwan If the plane is heavy, you need speed to take off to avoid stall. Two of my attempt when I take off almost crash because of stall and only launch at 50% throttle. When I'm using full throttle this plane flew well.

  • sniperke I mean...who puts all the FPV stuff in to the plane even before the first test flight with only necessary equipment?

  • blackcamo lol, that's what I was thinking. even more you maiden it, fly it so you know it and then add stuff bit by bit as every little thing usually affects handling more or less
