I haven't had any trouble with these batteries and they seem to double the run time at least which is great. It's certainly enough as the motor and ESC are super hot by the end of that. These little cars are tough for their size and great fun. My daughter was driving my 1:10 scale Arrma and I was driving this when they crashed head on- it just popped a steering rod which I popped back on and away it went. Great little car- I own the 124018 and 124019 as well and they are a touch more stable and less willing to wobble round in the rough but this does OK!
