What a brilliant car!!! As standard it flies, GPS says 28mph in the space I have on a full battery. the motor gets hot if you work her hard. I brought 3 - 2 to make slower than standard as first hobby grade cars for my two sons, and a third as a spares and test car... swapped in a very slow 80t Carson poison truck puller motor and added large 104mm austar wheels... now she has modest acceleration, 20mph fully charged if you have space, much more controllable for the kids, and since they are durable at 30mph and capable of over 100... then I hope with just 1/4 of the original power she will be super durable... she can run great on grass gravel or tarmac! I wanted something decent, durable, and upgradable with them with a good runtime. with the car setup with the Carson truck puller runtime is minimum 26 minutes of non stop action. generally can get 40 minutes out of the standard 22mah battery now. With the original motor 8-10 minutes of fast action. Enjoyed the test car soo much have a 144001 on the way for myself and eventually extra spares should they need them... hopefully get a few years out of these 124018 for my kids, and as they grow, keep them fastest kid on the block with original motor, them brushless - the possibility is endless.
