This truck is a great starting point for a scale crawler. The hard body looks great and the chassis is a great platform for upgrades that make this a great performing vehicle. In stock form, the proportional steering and throttle along with the adequate power from the 180 size motor, and metal gearing make this a capable, fun RC vehicle right out of the box. The electronics lead it to being very noisy with lots of whine from the ESCs relatively low frequency of pulse width modulation signals going to the motor which has to work pretty hard to move the 1/16 scale chassis.
