definitely a worthwhile upgrade for my wltoys a979b. the kit looks great alongside my other metal upgrade components. you will need to make a few tweaks such as drilling a hole for the steering linkage as the a979 just uses a pin rather than a through bolt, easy to do. finished product looks awesome.

very good value for the amount of metal parts in here as a single package. goes great with a metal chassis! spur gear fits 390 and not 540 motors. all parts arrived on time and without damage.

I've used one on my A959 and one on my A959-B. The steering is greatly improved heavier so there's better control over the car.

It seems all is in the bag and now just take a screwdriver and get to assemble the toy.
