I recommend swapping the provided motor for a T-MOTOR AS2312 2312 Long Shaft 1400 kV. The T-Motor is slightly bigger than the original, but will fit perfectly. It has a bit more punch. With the provided propeller I measure ~25 A on a 3S LiPo, so well within the capability of the stock ESC. One only has to make a small cut in the foam for the the wires coming out of the base from the T-Motor, other than that, no soldering is required. Other than that: Great little plane. Flies well, is easy to build. The decals and the spray paint suck, but that's easy to fix. Only nitpick: The rudder hinges are not sitting nicely in the main fuselage, especially the lower one. However, this did not bother me during flight.
