Initially I couldn't get it to work on single cells (1S) but a firmware upgrade fixed all the problems EXCEPT it can't measure internal resistance of 1S. Hopefully a future firmware upgrade will address this. Otherwise, it's a very good unit, especially with its ability to discharge ("recycle") into the input battery. Definitely recommended, especially at this price.
