The "legs" can be simply detatched by 4 small screws and with a very easy modification I can use this instrument as a depth indicator on a standing Drill. Whichever drill size you use simply reset whan is touching and you get the perfect depth.

The battery is missing, but I knew because I had read the previous ratings, the real problem is that there are no indications on what kind of battery and where it is ... With a little luck and knowing other similar tools, then I found all .. Anyway, good price!
