Great little unit, but there are a few buts..... Setup only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you have a relatively new wi-fi router that has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and the SSID is the same for both channels, then these devices may not differentiate your phone being connected on 2.4GHz and 5GHz and may not see the Sonoff S55. In my case I had a spare 2.4GHz WiFi Router that I connected to my existing LAN and used this to setup the S55. Once both my phone was on the 2.4GHz wi-fi and the device could see the 2.4GHz network I could get the EWeLink on my phone to connect to the S55. Note You also need to be connected to the internet whilst this connection takes place and it's why I had to connect my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router to my existing network I then had issues, which I still haven't resolved with using the Sonoff S55 with my Google Home. I can add the eWeLink Smart Home to the 'managed accounts' on my Google Home and the Sonoff S55 devices could be seen and added to their respective rooms, but it just won't connect. Have removed and re-added, but the devices just appear as "Not responding" - Offline Control from the eWeLink software itself works really well, but I've marked the quality down, jut because of the setup and a few people may have issues, especially if they think they can get these connected without any issues.
