The thread cutting tool holder and inserts are good quality and i have used them to cut metric threads and they worked great.The threads i cut were were well formed with no tearing or ripping in ordinary mild steel.

the holder is correct size and machined correctly, the spacer is ground flat and is nicely ground, the inserts are smooth, evenly coated and the finish is slick as it should be. the edges are crisp and sharp. the holder fits the tool post as it should and test cuts in aluminum and tool steel were crisp and of the correct shape. I see no reason to not try this tool. its attractive price and high quality speak for themselves. I'll certainly buy more. even shipping is quick considering the the distance. I'm impressed. been a machinist almost 40 years
