Product quality is high. Very good for diy bga projects. But if you give 220vac temperature reach to almost 1000 °C. Don't connect 220v directly. You should use an AC dimmer to use for DIY projects.

Very good product, appears to be very resistant. The plug came different from the one displayed in the ad, but it works perfectly. Care should be taken when turning on the same if the original station is not used, as although the resistance has the correct value to provide the 700 watts in 220v, if it is directly connected the reached temperature can damage the resistance, Soon to test or use without the original station a power control is required, such as a Dimmer.

Produto muito bom, aparenta ser bem resistente. O plug veio diferente do exibido no anúncio, mas funciona perfeitamente. Deve ser ter cuidado ao ligar o mesmo, caso não seja usado a estação original, pois, apesar de a resistência ter o valor correto para fornecer os 700 watts em 220v, se for ligado diretamente a temperatura atingida pode danificar a resistência, logo para testar ou usar sem a estação original é necessário um controle de potência, tal como um Dimmer.

Got this to build a diy hot air station. Works great and reliable. Reed contact for automatic shutdown was broken but it was not planed to use it anyway. Temperature sensor reacts very slowly therefore controlling temperature will be a bit tricky (air temperature rises much quicker than internal sensor can detect). Is there any source for the counterpart to the assembled connector? I cut it but it would be great if I cut use it anyway.
