The light is great, it feels good in your hand, but the lens is not so great. 45x is a lot, I know, but there is a lot of distortion near the edges of the lens. It gives a very clear image near the center, but that image blurs quickly. When we are at 45x, we need a very well made lens. Value for the money is pretty good. All in all, pretty good for field work but for the office spend the extra for a better lens.
