There is a strong odor from the mask upon first opening. I expect it will dissipate as time goes by. (After about a week it has mostly gone away.) The size is smaller than I expected. It is about an inch too short to go around my head. It doesn't fit around my head without really trying to stretch it. So I actually won't be wearing it. Perhaps it is meant more for kids than adults. I've bought other masks from other places and they usually come with a softer material inside so it doesn't scratch your face as well as provide some warmth. This mask is sort of like neoprene on inside and out. It is slightly softer on the inside but could use some more work.
