the tester is good to know if you fixed the RJ connector correctly. the grey wire scratcher is also good just move the orange piece to match your wire before first use, I used 8 for cat6 patch cable. the yellow plunger is used to push the wires in module connectors if you have one (the one in the wall plate) the crimper is good, I never used one before but out of 16 RJ I crimped none of them slipped or cracked. I had to cut and do couple of wires but it's not the crimper fault. the RJ plugs they sent is better quality than the one I had on hand I didn't try the other black cutter and white pusher very good for the price and if you're doing this for few times or it's your first time it's a good kit to start with. Recommended
