I did not see the important sentence "Can be used, but do not exactly match, need to modify, DIY" in the product description. So first I was disappointed, because it did not fit the H501S radio control. BUT on the other hand the opening/closing mechanism is really fine and I don't know an alternative. So I attached the anti-glare shield with a bit of white hot glue. Not beautiful, but it works fine! And what is more I could still use the lanyard though it fits tight now.

This is not the right transmitter hood shade. There is a difference in the clamping pin. This can be seen in the photos, who I send you.

I needed one of these for my Fimi A3 Filming FPV Drone for the controller. Had to modified a bit, but it works perfect, as seen in my pics. Really helps when out in direct sun light.

The screen was as advised designed for a different device however with a small trim of the bits not required and some two sided sticky tape and a small amount of super glue it was fitted within 15 minutes. I note others commenting regarding difficulty or not made to fit but this is clear in the sale information, D.I.Y fitting adjustment. Like others I hadn't noticed the part in the listing which specifies the need to adjust the part to fit the Hubsan controller. Not wanting to use glue or alter the part, I tried something and found a solution which others may find of interest. If your controller came with the Hubsan shade part (non-foldable), this part can be attached to the rectangular base of the Hubsan part, which then can attach to the controller. Please see the images to see what I mean. It's not completely secure, could be prone to falling off, and I've yet to try it in the field. But some may find it a more agreeable alternative to permanently altering the part/controller.

The item's quality is good, the springs works well, when folded, protects the screen also! So ideal choice for the Hubson's controller!

Buen material, lo único hay que adaptarlo porque no coinciden los enganches. Hay que sacarles los enganches que trae(foto) y luego pegarlo con un adhesivo instantáneo a la emisora, yo lo hice así y me quedo perfecto.

Item fits the Remote well with minor modification. You need the cut the 3 plastic prongs that protrude out, then align it to the screen and hot glue it. Love it works freaking good. Pictures attached.
